THE RADIO CALL

The final ATSB Report confirms that
the Captain
made the last radio call.
This is opposite to what was
originally provided by the Malaysian investigators,
and what appeared in the first edition of this book.

James says:

"It proves that the flight was proceeding normally."

AUTOPILOT OFF

The final report states that, because of the radius
of the turn, it is proof that the turn back towards
Penang was made with the autopilot OFF.

This is in-keeping with the theory advanced by
James Nixon
in the book.

He says:

"It's what Captains do when faced with a smoke,
fire or fumes scenario; by increasing the bank
angle, they can reduce track miles to get on
the ground faster."

SOMEONE ELSE

James Nixon has proof that Captain Shah's
home Microsoft Flight Simulator computer
was
used by another player.

He studied the Homicide Squad's documentation
and matched the six times the computer was turned-
on in the previous three months.

He compared that to the dates and times that
he used his Staff I.D. to enter and leave work.

He says:

"Two of the six times the computer program
was used in the three months before the
crash, Captain Shah was at work."

It was probably used by his son.

NOTHING TO SEE HERE

Despite what conspiracy theorists are saying,
Captain Shah never made a flight plan into the
Southern Indian Ocean.

Four waypoints were found on his home computer.
There is no evidence that they were made at the
same time, or were connected.

James says:

"The homicide squad accepted the report into
the computer, produced by experts, and peer-
reviewed; which stated, in
three separate summaries,
that there was nothing nefarious on the computer."

A NEW SEARCH? - MAR 2022

'In a dramatic development, Ocean Infinity
has committed to finding MH370 with a new
search in early 2023 or 2024.

Speaking at the 8th anniversary of the
disappearance of MH370
Ocean Infinity
CEO Oliver Plunkett
told the next-
of-kin that the company was committed
to finding the missing Boeing 777.'

EXPERT REVIEWS THE BOOK

Highly-respected Victorian Coroner, Iain West, has
read The Crash Of MH370 and provided a review.

" ‘The Crash of MH370’ is a compelling
read, and given the tragic nature of the
subject matter, it achieves an appropriate
balance between technical information
and a note of levity.

Mr Nixon’s technical expertise is obvious
and his theories, both of toxic fumes over-
whelming the pilots and the likely resting
place of the aircraft, appear entirely
plausible.

What is troubling is that the search
for the aircraft has been discontinued.

The result of this decision may be to
deprive the industry of critical flight
safety information and will certainly
deprive families and friends, of
potentially recovering their
loved ones.

Having been personally involved in
the identification and repatriation
of Australians killed in the Flight
MH17 incident, it was made very
clear to me, that for families to move
on with their lives, we should never
underestimate the importance to
them of recovering their love one’s
remains.

I urge authorities to recommence
the search for Flight MH370. "

Iain West, Coroner.
(since retired)
